Leadership Challenges - Part 3

Here's the third question: What challenges are facing leaders of financial institutions?

ET - "Financial institutions are faced with the difficulty of helping people build strong financial futures in the context of an immediate, no delayed gratification society. Personal wealth is developed slowly over time. Financial institutions have made credit too accessible for the fiscally irresponsible in order to pad their bottom-line. Here's the leadership challenge: grow your business, answer to your board of directors and stock-holders without creating a bankrupt community to serve in. The real goal for a financial institution should be health for the community not just the bank itself."
